In 2001, Heritage Place underwent a major expansion in response to civic leader’s desire to create a new central space in downtown Conroe. This 2.5 acre public space is capable of accommodating events as diverse as public gardening, crafts and cooking fairs, wedding receptions as well as a venue for outdoor events, festivals, and concerts.

Clear Lake Park is a 59 acre park located southeastern Harris County. The south side of the park offers traditional park amenities as well as a boat launch and fishing pier. The North side of the park offers playground equipment, various sports fields and 0.5 mile jogging trail, community center and open air pavilion.
